What is Tessera Graphics?
Tessera Graphics is a Web Site Design Company formed by Jeff Mertes of Moorhead, MN, to design web sites for his friends. I, Jeff Mertes, do not do this commercially. This was a venture just to help out a bunch of friends in getting web sites up and running. Keep reading, you will find out who they are listed below.
What is a Tessera?

Etymology: Latin, probably ultimately from Greek tessares four; from its having four corners
Date: circa 1656
1 : a small tablet (as of wood, bone, or ivory) used by the ancient Romans as a ticket, tally, voucher, or means of identification
2 : a small piece (as of marble, glass, or tile) used in mosaic work
Why Tessera?
Well, to put it simple, I use the first definition listed above. My Minnesota license plate is "TESSERA". So, if you consider it carefully, by the definition listed above, a license plate is a tessera, so, my license plate says license plate in Latin! More simply put, I wanted to be original.
